The Hex Clock tells the time with colour

Category : web

Translating the time (in 24h format) to hex-encoded colour values, the Hex Clock cycles through a new colour every second in this neat little web toy by Jacopo Colo.

If this is your sort of jam, you can set it as a screensaver using this URL and an application that lets you set webpages as screensavers, like WebViewScreenSaver for Mac or Web Page Screensaver for Windows. Jacopo was also nice enough to put the screensaver code on Github for the tinkerers.
