Vox brings us a short video that goes through the history and cultural legacy of one of the most important typefaces of the 20th century, Futura. Designed by German typographer Paul Renner in 1927, the font has since been used all over the word from applications in transport, government, publishing, TV & film, and even went to the moon on the Apollo 11 capsule.
